The Background Warehouse was created when a group of pre-employment screening professionals with over 20 years experience decided that the screening process could become more cost-effective and customer-oriented with the use of emerging technologies.

Employers across the United States have been forced to react to the ups and downs of the recent economy, making difficult personnel decisions in order to meet their already-strained budgets. These decisions generally involved employee layoffs, organizational restructure, relocation to a cost effective space, etc. This volatile staffing climate has meant a surge in the need for pre- and post-employment screening.
